Job Summary:
As a Hotel Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience by providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure correct presentation according to hotel standards.
  • Check on guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction and respond to any additional requests.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area and service stations.
  • Assist with restaurant setup, seating arrangements, and preparing for service.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient dining area.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and additional dining options.
Qualifications:
  • Previous serving experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift trays or items up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
