DCS Intake Specialist: This position processes referral paperwork for new DCS clients efficiently and in accordance with protocols and care guidelines set forth by JFCS. The DCS Intake Specialist maintains optimal quality standards for all processes, ensures compliance to productivity schedule, and maintains all patient data in systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all spreadsheets according to operations department and maintain multiple telephone lines and assist manage all correspondence through regular mails.
  • Maintain good professional relationships with all clients for all internal and external activities and provide accurate information for all processes and schedule all appointments for hospital.
  • Maintain optimal quality standards for all processes and ensure compliance to productivity schedule and maintain all patient data into systems and monitor all outreach.
  • Determine all notification requirements and update all status in systems and ensure completion of all benefit determination.
  • Manage and respond to all incoming DCS referral by tracking all inquiries and response.
  • Provide follow up calls if required and participate in scheduling and assist to collect and analyze all information and recommend required improvements to all processes.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred.
  • 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills that include the ability to maintain contacts in-person, by telephone, or through email.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Must receive/maintain DPS fingerprint clearance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred
  • Superior organizational/multi-tasking skills a must.
