Description
Reporting to the Director of Admission Operations, the Assistant Director of Admission Operations will be responsible for assisting with the creation and maintenance of reports, technical systems and operational processes in the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA. Evening and weekend hours required in support of special projects, deadlines and events.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversees the operational process of undergraduate transfer and international applicants.
Generates print communications for transfer and international applicants.
Performs quality controls to ensure communications and data are accurate.
Develops reports for internal and external constituents using Slate (CRM) and Microsoft Access.
Manages the transfer credit evaluation process and supplemental communications.
Supports the transfer team, which includes managing their assignments and workload.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in Higher Education and Slate.
Must be detail oriented and possess excellent analytical, technical and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize daily assignments while handling ad hoc projects and interacting with different levels of management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner preferred.

Salary/Salary Range
$62,400
Additional Information
Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education. In addition to the salary offered, we offer a collegial and inclusive culture, and a benefits program which includes generous paid time off, paid holidays, tuition remission for employees and eligible dependents, and a retirement plan with University contributions.
*Salary ranges indicated for positions covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement are in accordance with the CBA.
