Access and operatespaging system, phones, call lights, and internal Information Technology HelpDesk to locate and communicate with staff and maintain smooth operation of unit.ORDERING/INVENTORY - Inventories supplies and orders basic floor stock,computer supplies and drugs to ensure uninterrupted operation of unit. Assists in maintaining computer equipment by contacting help desk or other technicalresources when needed.MEDICAL RECORDS - Enters data into computer, prepares new patient chartsfor admissions, and ensures appropriate forms and paperwork are in order tomaintain accurate medical records. Audits charts to identify missing or incomplete records. Processes and requisitions patient care service orders based onphysician orders and instruction from professional staff.
