Job Description:

The Analyst, Analytics will report to OneOncology's Sr. Analyst, Analytics. This role will support projects carried out by the managed care and payer contacting team by generating insights and delivering actionable information to OneOncology and its partner practices. This role will also provide a robust introduction to the healthcare and oncology industries, providing insight into how analytics can be used to inform strategy and improve performance of care delivery organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Performing analyses on large data sets, including EHR, billing, and clinical data to understand payer reimbursement and utilization trends for OneOncology partner practices
  • Performing contract modeling and analysis to support managed care negotiations with payers
  • Creating dashboards to provide users with insight on managed care contracts and contract performance
  • Developing deliverables to communicate findings to OneOncology and partner practice leaders
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Key Competencies
  • An analytical mindset and the determination to find pragmatic solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SQL a plus, desire to learn SQL a must
  • Familiarity with PowerBI or other data visualization tools a plus
  • Familiarity with / working knowledge of the healthcare industry
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-4 years of work experience; experience working for a consulting firm, health insurer, healthcare provider organization, or other similar organization a plus
  • Genuine interest in learning about and working in the oncology space
