Regional VP of Sales - West Region

Our client, a pioneer in AI-driven solutions, is at the forefront of business transformation, utilizing state-of-the-art AI and Generative AI technologies to revolutionize the industry. Their AI Copilot, equipped with domain-specific large language models (LLMs), delivers dynamic interactions and automates tasks through sophisticated AI workflows.

The Role:

As the Regional VP of Sales for the West Region, you will be instrumental in driving the company's sales success. You will lead a team of seasoned enterprise account executives, build robust pipelines, achieve sales targets, and drive regional success.

Reporting directly to CRO

Leading a team of 6 Enterprise Account Executives

Responsibilities:

Lead a high-performing sales team in the West region, responsible for meeting and exceeding sales performance objectives and revenue targets.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new prospects, manage pipelines, and achieve revenue forecasts across various verticals.

Recruit, train, and mentor a top-tier enterprise sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.

Oversee the sales activities and success of each account executive, focusing on pipeline development to drive growth.

Negotiate and close complex deals.

Drive local process improvements to enhance the sales cycle and framework.

Collaborate with senior executives to execute regional sales goals, developing specific plans to ensure both short and long-term growth.

Input and maintain sales data within CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com, and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

Measure and report sales results and plan execution, identifying areas for improvement and implementing positive changes.

Represent the company by driving sales opportunities with strategic partners.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

10+ years of experience selling SaaS and Automation solutions, with extensive experience in enterprise software sales or business technology products and services.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams.

Experience selling into enterprise markets in the West region, selling directly the office of the CTO.

Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning technologies is highly favorable.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in startup or hyper-growth environments is desirable.

Ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasting.

Total Comp $350K to $400K + equity.
