The **Food service Director** is responsible for providing structure in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities for Food Service Director:**

* Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders

* Oversee department and all food functions

* Maintain ongoing communication with facility administration

* Knowledge of food policies and procedures

* Oversee dietary aides and all functions within department

* Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean & safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment & supplies are maintained

* Other duties assigned

**Qualifications** **for Food Service Director:**

* Must have proof of Covid-19 vaccination ( Religious and/or Health Exemptions May be Available for Qualifying Employees)

* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

* Must have cooking experience (Required)

* Banquet or catering experience (Preferred)
