We are open to remote candidates, but Austin (where we're based) is preferred.

YOU ARE:

You've worked on a brand social media program before and are prepared to lead your own, but you're still expecting to get hands-on and see content through from strategy to execution to posting. You have an instinct for storytelling and know how to make the most of any moment, from jumping in on a brand shoot to bank the perfect Reel to turning brand photography into a truly inspired Tiktok carousel. You understand the role that influencers play in building a brand, and you're excited to work with some big names as well as source new talent to help tell our story. You're curious and creative, and love to learn the ins and outs of a new audience and product and figure out what makes it tick; product marketing isn't a chore for you; it's an opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years experience managing organic social media for a consumer B2C or D2C brand
  • Experience conceiving and creating social-first campaigns across Instagram and TikTok - we want to see a portfolio of your edits
  • Strong knowledge of the social media ecosystem and a POV on channel selection, growth and challenges on each channel, and the unique content needs of each channel on which we're active
  • Experience proving the ROI of social media and preparing analytics and reporting; experience with social listening a plus.
  • A strong portfolio of short-form videos for Tiktok and Reels; experience editing longer-form video is a bonus.
  • Unafraid of ambiguity and eager to define the role of social in an evolving marketing organization; experience developing synergy between organic and paid social. Hands-on experience with boosting posts a plus, overall POV on the potential of paid support a must.
  • Must have experience working with enterprise social tools, eg. Sprout, Dash Hudson, HootSuite
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Grow our overall presence across our organic social media channels, prioritizing Instagram and TikTok, but working across Facebook and Pinterest too
  • Execute channel-specific social strategies across our channels and lead test-and-learn for social media content, pitching and developing new content ideas and reporting on results
  • Manage the social calendar, including always-on content and support for brand campaigns
  • Post and schedule all posts in the social media dashboard across all channels
  • Partner with our internal creative team to produce engagement-driven content across all organic channels.
  • Collaborate with our digital marketing lead to superpower our paid campaigns with organic insights and proven content formats.
  • Foster community, developing strategies for community engagement and proactive conversation on our social channels.
  • Support our retail partners, developing product marketing priorities into social-first campaigns
  • Manage our social reporting dashboards and provide regular performance reports that include areas of success and opportunity
  • Identify opportunities to create surprise & delight moments across social channels
  • Represent social to marketing leadership and exec leadership when required, serving as the internal expert on social to uplevel both our creative strategy and technical knowledge of the discipline.
