How you will contribute:
- Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
- Using previous experience, oversee documenting, testing and review of applicable internal controls over financial reporting allowing for identification of gaps in control design or operation and best practices
- Design and execute a risk-based substantive audit approach based on knowledge of internal control structure
- Adequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation
- Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement, providing timely solutions and consultation
- Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption or loss of control, and within scheduled deadlines
- Managing multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needs
- Build personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities including proposal preparation and delivery
- Leading audit committee meetings and presentations
- Participating in speaking and article writing opportunities
- Completing CPE specific to assigned industries
- Traveling to serve clients as necessary
- An aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team members
- Team and engagement management skills
- Innovative ideas to servicing clientele
- Communication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels, both verbally and in writing
- An ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goals

- CPA license
