**POSITION OVERVIEW**

dormakaba has several Assembler openings available at our Indianapolis facility Pay rates start at $15/hr + OT and benefits.

The assembler is responsible for performing a variety of basic production and assembly processes. This role will exercise responsibility for the quantity and quality of parts that will then be used by our valued customers. The Assembler will successfully complete their duties by visually inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards set forth by dormakaba. The assembler will report directly to a Production Supervisor.

**PRIMARY DUTIES:**

* Performs a variety of basic production and assembly processes by following assembly and planning instructions

* Exercises responsibility for quantity and quality of parts

* Operates various production assembly machines and may use hand tools to assemble products

* Visually inspects parts to quality standards set for by BEST

* Packs finished product as set forth by planning instruction, including instructional sheets and any necessary hardware

**CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:**

* Ability to work independently or as a part of a team

* Willingness to learn new processes

* Dependable and punctual

* Strong communication skills

**REQUIREMENTS**

* High school diploma or equivalent
