Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager supports the team as they carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Office including oversight of recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. Additionally he/she focuses on delivering HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success; as well as ensures compliance with federal state and local regulations and Aimbridge Hospitality operating procedures.

Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly. Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS:

Our ideal candidate will have experience managing Human Resources in a hotel as well as experience that involved interacting with a full range of employees (hourly to leaders).

A minimum of three years’ experience within human resources, preferably in a generalist role

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations

Ability to consistently display courtesy, etiquette, warmth and enthusiasm on the phone and in person

Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a professional manner

Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues

Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills

Ability to handle complex issues encountered using knowledge acquired through training and experience

Demonstrated ability to gain the trust and confidence of managers and employees and influence the organization

Ability to diagnose organizational issues and implement creative solutions

Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data to insight and then into action

Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information

Strong computer skills including intermediate or above knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Multiple language abilities preferred. Fluency in English required and Spanish desired
