Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the MW manufacturing facility – extrusion, fabrication, development, manufacturing engineering and maintenance – the employees and their ability to meet business objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Leadership – Lead and foster a culture of positivity that strives to achieve company metrics. • Metric Accountability – Provide authority and mentorship to direct reports that drives metric accountability through improvement plans and timelines. • Efficiency – Maximize efficiency within all direct departments by identifying and correcting waste. • Employee Accountability – Perform direct report assessments, enforce company policies and conduct disciplinary action. • Continual Improvement – Identify, recommend and implement new processes, technologies and systems to improve the use of manufacturing resources. • Safety – Ensure a safe working environment of the facility and it’s processes. • Housekeeping – Maintain organized facility areas as ‘tour ready.’ • Customer Focus – Carryout customer focused vision throughout direct reporting departments. • Cooperate and fulfill other job-related duties as assigned by leadership and as may be necessary to carry out the responsibility of this position.

Skills and Abilities: • Bachelor's degree in engineering field with 5+ years of operations/plant experience. • Manufacturing experience with strong knowledge base. o Machine Capabilities o Print Comprehension o Material Manipulation o Process Documentation o Engineering Principles o New Tool Development • Management experience. • Business acumen. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements. • Self-starter with organized, results-oriented approach. • Proven record of mentorship and training. • High level decision making & problem solving. • Fluid cross-functional communication (engineering, tooling, production, quality, management, etc.) • Computer literacy. • Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Physical Requirements: • Ability to work on their feet for the entirety of a shift. • Standing, bending, walking, lifting and carrying to fulfill production requirements. • Capability to lift material or tooling weighing up to 50 lbs. • Physical ability to push/cart material weighing up to 1,800 lbs. • Staying focused on the task at hand.
