We are transforming healthcare through quality, innovation, and education, with the goal of making Indiana one of the nation's healthiest states.Our Adult Academic Health Center is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacist to serve as the leader for two inpatient pharmacies and two satellite pharmacies within the Operating Rooms (ORs) at both Methodist and University Hospital. This leadership role is pivotal in managing a comprehensive pharmacy operation and ensuring optimal medication management for patient care. The manager will lead a team of approximately 40 pharmacists and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, project management, regulatory/compliance, recruiting and hiring. Provides comprehensive medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. Acts in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals in the responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with preparing and performing all activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Assists the Director in complying with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Will assists in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives.
