If you are looking for a challenging, team-oriented environment in which you can put your expertise to work, then this is the place for you.Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm & every 5th or 6th Saturday 9am-5pmAssists in general pharmacy duties as directed, may be asked to assist in various positions throughout the pharmacy as needed. Duties may include the filling of medications in correct packaging according to home preference, without error, and in a timely manner.Attributes Required: Work Ethic/Integrity - must possess intrinsic drive to excel coupled with values in line with company philosophyProblem Solving - ability to analyze causes and solve problems at both a strategic and functional levelTeam Oriented - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team membersEssential Job Functions (include the following):Assist in filling medication ordersPrioritizes work to ensure prescriptions are filled per delivery schedulePull labels at regular intervals to keep workflow movingSort and scan all orders to the correct toteMonitor the delivery dashboard to ensure all prescriptions due on the next run have been scanned and all workflow steps completed.Perform checks on each tote to ensure the manifest accurately reflects the contents of the tote.Return medications to shelf routinely throughout the dayAssist in quarterly physical inventory processCommunicate any issues with the Director, Pharmacy Operations in a timely manner.Serve as back-up fill tech or cycle stager as directed by management as business needs requireUse appropriate auxiliary labels when neededProvide assistance to other packing line technicians when appropriateArrange delivery totes according to appropriate routesSort checked medications into route-specific groupsWrite up delivery manifests for supplemental medications when necessaryPlace delivery manifests, supplemental medications, and drug monographs into correct totesPrepare controlled medications for delivery by placing them into bags, as directedMaintain clean and orderly scanning area, by keeping supplies, totes, and medications arranged in a logical and practical mannerOther essential functions and duties may be assigned as neededEducation and/or Certifications:High School Diploma or GED preferredSkills and Qualifications:Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/requiredAbility to work independently and deliver to deadlinesAbility to solve problems with minimal directionGreat attention to detail and accuracyAbility to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlinesQuality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurateWork Environment:Ability to work flexible hoursFlexible Schedule Required: 8-hour shiftHours of operation are subject to change based on the needs of the pharmacyWhat We Offer:Emotional well-being and physical health are important, which is why our employees receive a generous benefits package and a work culture that supports our core value of, "Treat others as you would like to be treated."Compensation & FinancialCompetitive pay401(k) with up to 3.5% company match (1)Family, Health & Insurance Benefits (1), (2)Multiple health plan options including copay (FSA-eligible) and HSA eligible plansWellness Incentive ProgramDental and Vision plansCompany-paid basic life, AD&D and long-term disability coverageOptional employee, spouse, and child life/AD&D insuranceOptional accident, critical illness, and short-term disability coverageDependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Time Off Paid holidays and sick daysGenerous vacation benefits based on years of service(1) Eligibility begins the first of the month following 30 days of employment(2) Full-time employees only, excluding EAP which is available to all Guardian employeesThe Guardian DifferenceOur clients require pharmacy services that aren't "cookie cutter."
