Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 and 3 technical support to high-level end users, resolving complex issues and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction; ensuring timely and effective technical support.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support requests, addressing escalations and ensuring swift issue resolution.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to improve help desk processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Possession of an Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Manufacturing experience highly desired, but not required.
- Proven deskside/in-person support experience (remote-only roles need not apply).
- Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Basic networking knowledge is required.
- Break/fix experience is critical to success in this role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of both Windows and MacOS platforms.
- Direct involvement in imaging, deploying, installing, and configuring computer systems and applications within a large-scale enterprise.
- Demonstrated dedication to providing exceptional IT support, including the ability to provide "white-glove" service to end-users.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work towards IT solutions proactively.
- Effective time-management skills, with a history of setting and achieving realistic deadlines for issue resolution.
