This position is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) and is responsible for providing routine patient care in an ambulatory setting under the direction of the physician or other designated licensed staff.....POSITION SUMMARY CMA: The Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA), under the direction of the physician or other designated licensed staff, provides routine patient care in an ambulatory setting. The CMA/RMA is able to work as part of a team and perform both clinical and administrative duties. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, obtaining preliminary visit information, preparing patients for examination/procedure, sterilization of medical instruments and administering medications as directed by provider or designee. The CMA/RMA may also act as a scribe by documenting (on behalf of the provider) all clinically relevant interaction and dialogue during the course of the patient visit. The CMA/RMA will work at the clinic location that the Provider is scheduled to work at for the day. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records and filling out insurance forms/paperwork. POSITION SUMMARY LPN: The LPN performs as a professional nurse in the area of patient care and education. The LPN provides nursing care for adults, pediatrics, infants, adolescents, and elderly through physical, psychological and social assessments and communicates the findings to the RN, physician and/or mid-level provider. The LPN manages, organizes, and provides direct patient care incorporating clinical decision-making, facilitating the next steps in the patient's plan of care, and prioritization of activities. The RN will work at the clinic location that the Provider is scheduled to work at for the day.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATIONCertified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant through the AMT organization.CPR CertificationORGraduate of an accredited Licensed Practical or Vocational Nursing ProgramValid nursing license as recognized by the state of Wisconsin.Current CPRA minimum of one-two years of experience on preferredORGraduate of an accredited school of nursingBaccalaureate degree preferredValid nursing license as recognized by state of Wisconsin.Current CPRRelevant clinical experience preferred.Shift: Monday-Friday, daysFTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
