Customer Service Specialist

Our client in North Haven is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly and upbeat attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Retrieve and accurately enter customer orders into the system.
- Process credits for returned merchandise.
- Maintain high-profile customer accounts and complete discrepancy reports as needed.
- Utilize problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Perform data entry to set up new customer accounts.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and JD Edwards software.
- Excellent typing skills and familiarity with 9-key entry.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
