Accounting Associates assist in the planning and setup of engagements. They may also assist with research and other projects. Responsibilities: Sets up current year files Prepares confirmations Prepares tax returns Other projects as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required; Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred 6 months of related experience preferred Excellent customer service skills (internal and external); Ability to understand own and others' emotions to achieve desired goals Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in a professional setting Work effectively both as part of a team and independently Highly motivated and embrace challenges as an opportunity to grow Outstanding organization and project management skills; Take responsibility for quality and timeliness of projects Quickly adapt to a changing work environment, including the use of software, systems and technology Ability to work overtime as needed Proficient with Microsoft Office Prepared to travel to clients’ locations, which may include occasional overnight stays (travel expectations vary by department and office location; talk with your local recruiter regarding specifics) Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
