Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Director, Quantitative Pharmacology Boston , Massachusetts Apply Now As a Senior Director in Pharmacometrics (PPK/PD, QP, or CP as appropriate), this individual will be responsible for managing PMx support for a number of programs in one or more therapeutic focus areas of the development portfolio. In this capacity the Senior Director is accountable for the successful and timely completion of all assignments encompassing a broad array of deliverables in support of the corporate strategic goals. The Senior Director is expected to apply both logistical and strategic initiatives as well as to incorporate novel and creative scientific approaches. A typical day in this role might look like: Utilizing a mastery level of PK/PD knowledge and strategic leadership skills, effectively develop and implement strategic analyses in support of research and development projects. • Adapts plans and priorities that addresses resource and operational challenges. Accountable for the appropriate application of PMx and corporate policies and procedure. • May provide technical guidance and mentoring of colleagues within the function and across the organization. • Accountable for the PK/PD evaluation of a portfolio of products or projects, and/or highly complex projects that are wide in scope. • Anticipates and assess internal and/or external business, scientific and/or regulatory challenges; and is able to recommend sound solutions. • Find opportunity for process and improvements, product or service improvements. • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. • Influential across the organization to include; individual contributors (in and out of the function), development program teams, and other functional manages. Able to work with considerable ambiguity. • Is a good mentor. Identifies business problems and works in team to craft solutions. Able to get along with regulatory agencies without supervision, and with company to develop regulatory strategy. • Active professionally and finds ways to represent company externally. • Leader of cross-functional process initiatives. • Works with senior management on solving issues and to engage department in new areas.
