Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is currently hiring a Senior Echocardiographer for the Noninvasive Lab in Norfolk, VA. Job Description: Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application. Provides leadership to support department with respect to staffing schedule, accreditation, staff education or other duties as defined by management. Job Requirements: Education: Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma along with significant experience will be considered in lieu of education, in accordance with IAC Guidelines. License/Certification: Candidates must have at least one of the following four certifications: RDCS, RCCS, RCS, or ACS. Experience: 3 years experience in Echocardiography required.
