Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee the daily activities and performance of team members.

Conduct daily reconciliations of bank transactions and provide timely updates to upper management.

Audit posted financial transactions and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Assign tasks, ensuring responsibilities and deadlines are met.

Identify priorities and establish goals aligned with daily business needs.

Conduct annual performance reviews with direct reports, developing and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.

Assist with the hiring process and provide training for new hires.

Reconcile daily transactions and perform ad hoc reconciliations as necessary.

Collaborate with internal functions and external parties to streamline processes and resolve issues.

Resolve billing discrepancies and address challenges by offering practical solutions.

Manage month and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred, or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in an accounting role.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

Experience managing a team of at least 3 staff members.

Training and development experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet scheduled deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
