This includes growth on current book of business, an understanding of client's business, a minimum of 95% retention, and client satisfaction for a book of business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Quality Client Service & ExpertiseCompetently manage the client service cycle, monitor timeframes and meet renewal deadlinesWith oversight, guidance and input from the CE/Producer:Participate in stewardship planning and annual meeting by writing and creating portions of the report and performing research on the documents needed for the reportRetain and develop accounts by:Making recommendations regarding the risk to the client for the most cost effective and proper insurance coveragePreparing, writing proposals and providing quote comparisonsEvaluating and recommending other linesProviding additional resources for the client as neededPerforming contract and new acquisition reviewMarket renewal and new lines of insurance including:Creating coverage specificationsParticipate in creating manuscript coverage wording to satisfy a client's coverage needAnalyzing quotes received from carriers.Negotiating with carriersCreating and presenting the coverage analysisReview policy coverage and identify cross-selling and additional revenue opportunitiesDevelop thorough understanding of client businesses, their policies, practices, and industriesUnderstand and guide clients through the initial objective setting processAnalyze data to draw conclusions and recommend findings to clientAssess client needs and questions and reviews options with clients, making sound recommendations on a day-today basisFunctional understanding of agency management computer system and other related software productsBasic understanding of client's business, policies and industriesProduce high quality workUnderstand and stays current with technical and professional standardsEnsure legislative, regulatory and technical developments are appropriately communicated to clientsService clients in accordance with PAR E&O professional service standards by complying with all E&O Plus, legal and regulatory requirementsAchieve a minimum rating of 90% from E&O Plus audits on all accountsKeep informed of all new sales programs. Attend company sponsored seminar and educational activities, including staff webinars/seminars, necessary to maintain product knowledge and underwriting expertiseDemonstrate consultative approach in workPeople Management and Relationships skills: Even though this position does not manage people, the client manager must be able to perform the following:Delegate appropriately and provide development opportunities for co-workersDisplay professional, social and teamwork skillsWork well within a team and possess a positive attitudeManage and meet expectations of co-workers and clientsPossess good oral and written communication skills both internally and externally.Proactively provide clients and associates with relevant information (industry developments) throughout the year to create and maintain loyaltyInteract confidently with people in a variety of situationsListen and communicate well and adapt to different work stylesTrain co-workers through on the job trainingProductivityBook of BusinessParticipate in internal and external networking activitiesManage projects to meet deliverable deadlines, meet expectationsKeep tasks up to date and currentPossess awareness of firm's service capabilities to generate ideas and solutions for clients and cross selling opportunitiesAdditional Job Duties:Participate in any special projects at management's request.Additional job duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications Required to Successfully Performing the Essential Job Duties:College degree or equivalent work experience.Three to five years experience, with a high level of dependability, handling large accounts.Must possess strong interpersonal skills in written and verbal communication, planning and analysis.Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft office suite such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to accurately perform advanced mathematical calculations.Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and skills and effective use of office equipment, primarily computer, telephone, fax machine, copier and calculator.Above average to excellent grammatically proper speaking and writing skills to effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies.Other Qualifications: Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required to Successfully Performing the Essential Job Functions:Advanced insurance designations, such as CIC, CPCU, CEBS, CLU or other pertinent designations desirable Appropriate jurisdictional license requiredMaintain Appropriate Licenses: Life and Health, Property and Casualty desired for cross-selling opportunitiesRecognized as a knowledgeable resource in their fieldFinding and cultivating talent is a hallmark of our organization.
