Senior Manager, Account Management

As a Senior Manager, you will report to a Director or Sr Director of Member Operations. This is a senior position that is expected to have responsibility for a portfolio of PA’s most strategic Members. Every day is different, but you can expect to: Both directly and via a team of Managers, lead a portfolio of Member accounts, having detailed knowledge of their organization structure, site operations, relevant spend, opportunities, pain points, and risks, and developing trusted advisor relationships with key leaders and influencers Develop and execute on plans to meet and exceed annual goals for organic growth and Member retention through PA programs Preemptively identify Member memberships at risk and minimize attrition by continuously demonstrating responsiveness, anticipation of needs, and delivery of value above and beyond expectations In conjunction with PA supplier partners and our internal data analytics team, identify and gain Member buy in for programs and projects that deliver meaningful results while growing PA’s wallet share, including: -Conversion of non-PA spend to new and existing PA programs -Consolidation of SKUs across Member operations - Reduced consumption and waste through inventory solutions -Interchange of products for lower total cost solutions -Education of site buyers on good purchasing practices Leverage project management skills to build and maintain consensus with Members on project goals, critical issues, implications, recommendations, and implementation plans Visit member operations and work with local employees to implement change to achieve desired outcomes Engage PA’s most senior executives (CEO, COO, SVPs/VPs) and consultants where appropriate to maximize Member engagement and satisfaction Mitigate Member concerns and issues related to supply and service level from PA suppliers Have deep knowledge of all PA programs, including value proposition, contractual mechanics, commercial terms, and responsibilities of all parties Develop strong working relationships with Supplier representatives Preemptively identify Member memberships at risk, and effectively mitigate attrition Leverage project management skills to build and maintain consensus with Members on project goals, critical issues, implications, recommendations, and implementation plans Visit member operations and work with local employees to implement change to achieve desired outcomes ABOUT YOU: Senior Managers are instrumental to both supporting our Members and providing sound direction and development opportunities to junior team members. Qualified candidates must meet a set of criteria we deem essential for both of those responsibilities: Ability to project poise, confidence, and professional maturity in both internal and external situations; engaging and concise with good interpersonal “presence”, comfortable both in the C-suite and team room setting Rigorous analytical skills, ability to excel at solving problems that require sound logical reasoning, creative thinking, fluency with numbers, and ability to untangle complex issues Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, committed, and inclusive team player Passionate about developing others and helping them achieve their goals Ability to exercise business judgement, communicate persuasively and generate insights to build trusting Member relationships Flexibility and ability to serve and address a wide range of Member types and manage multiple priorities Articulate and compelling verbal, written, and presentation skills are vital Great colleague, teammate, and mentor; passionate about the task at hand and fun to be around Knowledge of MRO products and applications in manufacturing operations Undergraduate from a competitive program with strong academic results; Masters/MBA desirable -Exposure to both corporate and site operations in a manufacturing organization -Experience developing, deploying, and driving compliance to purchasing strategies in Procurement, Operations, or Finance roles (or applicable consulting engagements) -Prior responsibility for individual sales and/or revenue growth targets -Experience working with Private Equity groups and their portfolio companies -Prior experience in consulting preferred but not required ADDITIONAL DETAILS / LOGISTICS: Role will be based at PA headquarters in Atlanta with regular travel expected to Member offices and plants to support initiatives The annualized compensation range for this role is expected to be $145-165k and will be dependent on experience level
