* Monitor, control and support all aspects of technology service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed.

* Lead and oversee the Retirement technology ecosystem, including third party administrator (TPA), SaaS, and internal systems and platforms.

* Devise and execute continual improvement initiatives in all Retirement service delivery and technology, with a focus on delivery velocity and quality.

* Partner with business leaders to determine and prioritize delivery initiatives.

* Manage people, both Global Atlantic, contract resources and TPA employees activities related to technology development and maintenance.

* Assist in management of Software Development Lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, release management, and maintenance.

* Engage with business partners to report (formally and informally) on technology strengths, weaknesses, successes and challenges on a regular basis.

* Effectively partner with business peers to drive organizational goals and strategies.

* Assist in defining technology strategy where appropriate. Lead tactical planning to support the execution of the Retirement business technology strategy.

* Consult with internal business partners and PMO to set appropriate resource plans, timelines, and expectations across discretionary opportunities.

* Partner with technology peers to maintain architecture, infrastructure, data, and security best practices.

* Ensure appropriate change management and other technology methodologies are carried out on a consistent basis over time.

* Advocate appropriate technologies to be adopted so as to meet present and future demands of the business.

* Lead the research and development of new software products and applications.

* Define or influence system, technical and application architectures for major areas of development.

* Assist in defining and governing appropriate technical standards and procedures.

* Conceive, design, prototype, and test new methods, algorithms, and models as proofs of concept when appropriate.

* Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

* 10+ years of experience in technology with exposure to application development, engineering, architecture, change management, continuous improvement, security and major transformations.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership experience.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Cultural awareness with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

* Passion and drive for continuous improvement and transformational change, with a business owner mentality.

* Preferred experience working with Third Party Administrators.

* Preferred insurance or financial services experience.

* Experience using agile methodologies and leveraging DevOps principles
