Piper Companies is currently searching for a contract IT Help Desk Technician to work On-site in El Paso, TX for a consulting firm impacting the lives of vulnerable and underserved populations around the world. The IT Help Desk Technician contributes to Tier 1 technical support for end users.

Responsibilities for the IT Help Desk Technician include:
•Follows Help Desk policies and procedures and provides timely response to incidents assigned to them in the ticketing system
•Provides internal and external training support and advice to end users
•Installs, configures, maintains, upgrades, repairs and replaces information
•Completes project tickets and participates in departmental and inter-departmental project teams and committees regarding planning, purchasing, and implementing information technology devices and services

Required Qualifications for the IT Help Desk Technician include:
•Bachelor's degree in technology or related experience
•2 Years experience in a help desk role
•Working knowledge of application software to assess problems in the execution of applications
•Working knowledge of computer systems, peripherals, and communication hardware
•Ability to work independently and in a team to achieve predetermined goals and meet deadlines
•Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Online

Compensation for the IT Help Desk Technician include:
•$22/hr - $27/hr Depends on level of degree/combined years of experience
•Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick time, 401K and much more
