Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a Business Development Professional to help attract and onboard discretionary and systematic portfolio managers. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at building a pipeline of strong PM talent.

Responsibilities

Conduct strategic market intelligence and market/candidate mapping to gain competitive insights.

Develop firm and industry knowledge to support all strategic and operational elements of the portfolio manager hiring process.

Work closely with internal hiring managers to understand current candidate requirements.

Leverage and continuously expand upon existing network to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.

Introduce new candidate sourcing channels and work to increase percentage of hires made through direct channels.

Proactively assist with branding and marketing the firm to prospective future portfolio manager hires.

Liaise with external headhunters to build trusting relationships and educate them on role specifications.

Assist with the candidate selection process, including first round resume reviews and interviews.

Present candidates to the hiring team during pre-interview discussions.

Ensure onsite meetings run smoothly & efficiently.

Participate in post-interview discussions and disseminate feedback to relevant parties.

Manage candidates in applicant tracking database, including logging feedback, managing requisitions, interview tracking,running statistical hiring reports, etc.

Partner with internal relevant parties on agreement negotiations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.

8+ years of related industry experience.

Track record of executive recruiting and business development (full life cycle recruiting experience).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

High level of integrity and passion for financial markets.

Ability to act as an ambassador for the firm, and proactively market the benefits of working at Graham.

Strong attention to detail in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.

The right fit for this role will be a proactive, self-starter with strong work ethic and proven ability to build long-lasting relationships.

Eager to learn new skills and comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Our current hybrid work arrangement requires that all employees commute into our office Mondaysthrough Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Base Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
