The part time Financial AidAdvisor to support Outreach Services, reports to the Director of Student FinancialAid Services. This position will be the main contact for students and parentsand offer crucial support and information on financial aid programs. Collect feedback from outreach initiatives and student interactions to help measure the effectiveness of financial aid funding and support.

Stay current with state and federal regulations that affect the programs being managed and aid programs in general.

Review documents submitted by students and parents to determine eligibility.

Assist in preparing reports for and responding to audits by Federal and State agencies.

Attend necessary workshops and seminars.

Assist with financial aid aspects of recruitment, admission, enrollment, and retention activities.

Conduct financial aid presentations for groups of current and prospective students as requested.

Provide office hours at other campuses as required.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director and/or the Manager of Student Financial Aid Services. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

One year of related employment experience, including student outreach and workshop design, student coaching, or customer service.

Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs is preferred.

Comfortable presenting to varying size audiences.

MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work closely and confidentially with students.

Good organizational skills.

The ability to work independently and creatively.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and offsite events.
