Position Summary: The Accounting Manager contributes to the company’s overall success by overseeing the financial operations and accounting functions of the organization to ensure the highest level of productivity and efficiency, by providing leadership, direction, and motivation to the Accounting Team. This position will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

Oversee ACH credit reconciliation and processing. Weekly review of bank return items to reverse payment postings. Month-end commission review for manual updates. Month-end bank reconciliation of ACH credits/debits and return items. Month-end Independent Contractor loan reconciliation. Month-end compilation of use tax data, filing, and payment. Month-end lease-buildings right of use leases data extraction. Month-end vendor rebate reconciliation and payment. Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly client rebate. Monthly COD and Non-Multifamily accounts charge backs. Setting up new states for use tax filing/payments. Quarterly tax disbursement notification and distribution of payments. Bank transmission of independent contractor payroll, PESA for Sales, and end of month draws for Sales. Bank approver for all ACH debit and credit submissions. Locking ACH credit postings in Accounting Module. Budget owner and manage a portion of the C-store. Credit Card and Enterprise Resource Planning owner and administrator with set-up, limit review/processing, cancellations, and account policy creation and oversight. Reimbursement reviewer/approver. Oversee Adjustments and Credit Memos. Monitor and provide reimbursement to Sales and Clients for overpayment and return on charge backs. Monthly vehicle review for expiring tags and renewal needs. Bill of Sale documentation for selling of Rasa Assets. Manage and oversee all vehicle documentation. Manage and oversee eProcurement. New eProcurement overview for potential connection, fee association, client impact, Rasa impact, Rasa account set up Including procurement fee negotiations, client connections, supplier hosted catalog, electronic data Information connection set up, electronic data information submissions, Training and Procurement invoicing (done with month-end vendor rebate reconciliation). Oversee certified payroll and administration. Manage Cities/use tax rates, Stores, and Sales Reps in Client Management System. Yearly property tax compiling for all counties/branches, filing, appraisal review, and payment. Yearly Independent contractors, NEC tax compiling, distribution, and filing. Yearly Independent Contractors withholding orders. Oversee yearly independent contractors bad TIN/SSN review. Corporate Toll Tag management Account set up for new manufacturer/distributors. Manage and oversee office supplies and snacks.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Maintain adequate job knowledge required for the role. and keep abreast of process changes company wide. Back up for Billing (all tasks), Contracted Billing (all tasks), IC Payroll processing, Subcontractor Services (all tasks) Products Module to include add and edit materials, services, STF, Cost and price reporting, and E-commerce connection. Required Skills/Abilities:

Advanced communication skills: able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in the English language (bilingual in Spanish is a plus but is not required) Advanced reasoning/challenge-solving ability: able to analyze situations fully to arrive at accurate, logical, and appropriate resolutions; able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; able to deal with challenges involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Detail-orientated; able to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Adaptable and flexible Strong team builder with the ability to direct, coach, and mentor a diverse team. Ability to quickly learn and maintain strong knowledge of the software, products, and services provided by the organization. Advanced mathematical skills: able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Advanced working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications with Proficiency in financial programs, spreadsheet applications (such as Microsoft Excel), and the ability to also learn new/internal software.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field; or Five (5) years minimum experience in finance or accounting, or five (5) years of Rasa experience with completion of Accounting Representative Tier 1-3, and Accounting Supervisor developmental plans.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

This position does not require any certifications, licenses, or registrations.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position will directly supervise minimum of eight (8) or more employees in the Accounting Department, including (1) Accounting Supervisor Will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Accounting Department. Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and managing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; managing time and attendance; addressing complaints and resolving challenges.

Travel:

This position does not require any travel.

New hire training is conducted in an office setting. After the conclusion of the initial training period the job has the option to be fully hybrid working in a professional office setting as well as in a remote setting. Employees are responsible for maintaining a designated workspace in their home office, free from distraction and excessive background noise. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. The environment is fast paced.
