System Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dedrone. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our hardware products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to production introduction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and support across Project Management, Product Management, Production, Software, and RF Development.

You will:
•Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to production introduction, ensuring all designs meet requirements for performance, reliability, and compliance.
•Develop and implement system-level designs for fixed-site, portable, and mobile solutions, focusing on durable designs that maintain performance in various operational environments.
•Manage the validation and testing of new designs using industry-standard equipment and methodologies.
•Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and manage the production documentation process meticulously.
•Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical and RF engineers, software developers, Project Management, Product Management, Production, Software, quality department and RF Development, to ensure cohesive and integrated product development.
•Oversee the packaging design and implementation process to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.
•Support and lead the certification and regulatory approval process for new products.
•Provide technical support and guidance to other departments, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.

You have:
•A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on system-level integration.
•A solid understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical designs, electrical engineering and design for manufacturing .
•Experience in designing and validating products for harsh environments.
•Familiarity with MIL-STDs and the qualification process.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
•Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly.
•The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity.
