Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager based in Milford, OH. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for purchasing, planning, inventory control, supplier & vendor relationships and purchase orders for the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience working in ERP systems a plus. Looking for someone that can put misc. reports together for tracking shipments, cost and more.

This position will coordinate the purchasing activities of the organization, ensuring the materials and services are procured at the best cost, quality, and delivery. The Purchasing Manager will be instrumental in optimizing the sourcing process, identifying reliable suppliers, and nurturing strong relationships with our current supply base as well as finding new ones. We value analytical minds, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and follow up skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and reducing costs.
  • Experience in optimizing procurement processes, and implementing best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases and analysis tools, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be able to work onsite at our Milford, Ohio location. No remote or hybrid is available.

Passing a drug test and background check is contingent upon hiring.
