The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple sites. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in outside sales management, multi-site management, excellent business acumen, and a proven track record in the home remodeling industry or similar industries.
Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
    • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and adjustments.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
    • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
    • Foster a positive and motivating work environment to encourage teamwork and high morale.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
    • Address and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional campaigns and lead-generation strategies.
    • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the company and generate leads.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily sales operations across multiple sites to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement and enforce sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the regional sales operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Operates safely in all conditions.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Follows company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in outside sales management, preferably in the home remodeling or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
