How you’ll have an impact at La Marzocco:

The Inventory Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of a company's inventory records. This includes conducting physical counts of inventory, reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records, and preparing detailed reports on inventory levels, adjustments, and variances. Utilizing technology and inventory management software to track and update records, as well as implementing process improvements, this role works closely with various departments to verify the timely and accurate receipt of shipments and proper stock placement.

As an Inventory Auditor, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

· Perform regular physical counts of inventory in La Marzocco USA warehouses. Reconcile physical counts to inventory records in the system. Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits as required.

· Determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Document and report findings to the Accounting and Finance department.

· Examine and compare inventory levels against records in the company's database to detect discrepancies. Utilize inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions to improve inventory control processes. Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory accuracy and issues.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for accurately recording incoming and outgoing inventory, including tracking product codes, quantities, and locations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit records and documentation.

· Work closely with other departments as needed to ensure inventory accuracy. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve inventory-related issues. Provide support and guidance to inventory control staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency. Train staff in inventory control best practices and procedures. Cross-train on procurement processes for parts and machines.

· Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and accurate inventory control. Implement and monitor inventory control measures to prevent loss. Recommend and implement improvements to inventory control procedures.

What you’ll bring to the table:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required. Certification in inventory management or auditing e.g., Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Inventory Optimization Professional (CIOP) highly desired.

· At least 3 years’ experience in inventory auditing, inventory management, or a related field. Clear and proven understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and Inventory counts and cycles. Experience in coffee a plus.

· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or other inventory management software and consumer shipping and ordering systems; Microsoft Office. SAP Business 1 preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and stay focused on task; good time management and organization skills.

· Ability to work in a team-based environment with flexibility in workflow and daily duties. Basic understanding of principles and processes of customer service.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

The details:

· Location: Seattle, WA, Ballard HQ

· Compensation Range: $33.65 - $45.67/hour depending on experience, with 5% bonus opportunity

· Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; Position requires flexibility to work evening and weekends to conduct inventories with minimal disruption to operations.

· Reports to: Vice President, La Marzocco International

· Physical requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time while working at a computer, walking at a quick pace, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds

· The ability to work in different environments, such as warehouses, is required.

· Travel: 15-20% travel to other La Marzocco USA company locations for inventory and audits.
