PermPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, document and maintain containerized microservices running on UNIX systemDesign secure application architecture utilizing knowledge of cyber securityDesign robust, cross-platform software applications running on a Linux platform.Bridge/Integrate data from connected platforms and healthcare systems.Perform unit testing and consult on security testing activities.Provide architectural direction, plan and decompose high level featuresParticipate in code reviews, mentor members of the team on best practices for software design and implementationRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Biomedical Sciences or Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum of 10+ years of related software development experienceExperience with programming for Linux and/or WSL development environmentsExperience integrating data on electronic health systems (Experience with HL7, Mirth or similar)Strong proficiency with back-end frameworks (Elixir language preferred)Strong proficiency with front-end/UI frameworks (Angular/typescript preferred)Strong working knowledge and experience of various cyber security protocols and implementations (PKI, certification, encryption mechanisms, authentication etc)Experience with FDA/EU regulations around medical device software (IEC 62304, 21 CFR Part 820, TIR45 etc)
