As Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for TPH Academy and Total Package Hockey and providing social media support for our campuses across the US and Canada. You will be responsible for creating and publishing content, creating and maintaining monthly content calendars, managing paid and organic social media campaigns, and analyzing analytics to track performance on all platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok. This position also includes occasional writing assignments on relevant topics surrounding student-athlete and alumni advancement and the elite youth sporting world. The ideal candidate will have a background in content creation and a strong understanding of social media platforms. A background in athletics and youth sports is a plus. A strong knowledge of ice hockey is required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Attention to detail when posting and publishing content.
  • Eager to learn and grow on a collaborative design team.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Meta, Meta Business Manager, Instagram, X, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • A passion for sports, specifically hockey, is a must. Experience working in youth sports and/or athletics preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Experience in Marketing, Social media, Graphic Design, or another related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to work cohesively with division leaders, the public, and outside contractors/affiliates. Great attention to detail is a must.
  • Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment with the ability to be self-driven and accountable.
  • Experience building and implementing social media content calendars and content management systems.
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns.
  • Passion for sports and the ability to keep a pulse on the youth sports world.


Base salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. This position comes with full benefits.
