Position Summary

This position is responsible for a wide range of duties related to audit support and compliance review. The Specialist audits all areas of Credit Operations to ensure compliance based on federal, state and banking regulations. This individual is responsible for identifying trends and reporting non-compliant concerns to the Operations Leadership team. Additional responsibilities include identifying trends, analyzing data and providing compliance and operational support for plastic reissues, mail services secure destruction process and reporting for cashiering.

Responsibilities

  • Audit work processed by Credit Operations representatives for compliance with federal, state and banking regulations
  • Establish proficiency to a level of becoming the subject matter expert for plastic reissues, includes development of SOPs and audit processes
  • Research and respond to attorney letters
  • Establish operational and audit processes for cashiering
  • Review exception reports for adherence to applicable regulations and internal CFNA policies
  • Maintain and provide documentation of compliance and regulatory work product as requested
  • Perform OFAC and FinCEN reviews, report findings to CFNA leadership and the appropriate Regulatory agency as required.
  • Oversee regulatory complaints and Unfair Deceptive Abusive Acts & Practices (UDAAP) log for accuracy, completeness and emerging trends
Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet established deadlines and SLAs
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Displays a solid understanding of Microsoft Office product suite
  • Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement
  • Demonstrates strict adherence to banking regulations and internal policies


Required: High School Diploma with two years of experience in financial services, audit and/or compliance.

Preferred: Associate's Degree with two years of experience in financial services, audit and/or compliance.

Work Shifts Schedules: Choice of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or 7:00 to 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Weekly Hours: 40 hours, Full-time

Pay Rate Type: Hourly

Location: Brook Park, Ohio.
