We are thrilled to introduce you to The NOW, a massage boutique expanding to its second location in Scottsdale/Phoenix. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our current location. Although we don't expect to make a formal hire until November 2024, we're eager to connect with potential candidates now and start building relationships. This will give us time to discuss your qualifications and see if you'd be a good fit for our team.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Experience Guide, Massage Therapist, and leadership teams while ensuring seamless operations, top-notch guest experience, and profitable business practices.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 2+ years of industry or likeminded business experience (operating a fast-paced, high-volume business)
  • Proven track record in sales and building a recurring guest base with a sense of community
  • Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • A passion for mentoring and leading people
RESPONSIBILITIES

The General Manager is responsible for key tasks related to leadership, management, and operations, ensuring to include specifics about managing people, KPIs, and the P&L. Excelling in "selling;" ideas, policies, products, and services within the boutique team and to our members and guests. The fast-paced, results-oriented environment demands quick adaptability and the skill to motivate others to adjust to business challenges and achieve organizational goals.
  • Recruitment, hiring, and continuous development of the team, both front desk and Massage Therapist
  • Performance management (document and delivery) and maintaining positive relationships within the team
  • Resolve guest issues and employee relations in a manner reflective of The NOW Brand Truths
  • Mentor and coach team members to excel in their roles and achieve their goals
  • Efficiently managing payroll and scheduling demands in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain team schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Financial acumen is essential for adhering to and monitoring budgets and driving sales
  • Perform accounting duties, such as recording daily cash flow, managing payroll, and executing inventory
  • Upholds our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance (including massage therapy laws)
  • Plan and overseeing promotions and collaborations with local businesses to enhance our brand presence
  • Next-level guest experience, addressing online reviews, and community engagement
