OCONUS Construction Manager, Mid
Key Role:

Manage project design and construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight. Manage and evaluate construction contractor performance. Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel. Evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests. Provide official weekly project status reports. Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10 + years of experience in construction management
  • Experience with OCONUS design and construction projects
  • Experience with the timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into the project management tool for all projects, work orders, and tasks across the project life cycle
  • Experience with preparing and monitoring project schedules, providing technical guidance and assistance on contracting- and construction-related issues, reviewing design drawings, recommending construction documents for approval, reviewing submittals and requests for information (RFI's), and providing oversight of any follow-on maintenance programs
  • Ability to prepare Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout
  • Ability to assist the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) with acquisition planning, execution, and administration
  • Ability to assist the CO and COTR with conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site visits with the COTR
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including to high-risk areas, for up to 30, 60, or 90 days per trip
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management software
  • Experience in optimizing performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements
  • Experience with ensuring integration of all systems, including IT, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Experience with providing invoices to support information to the COTR for payment
  • Knowledge of project scheduling tools and methods
  • Ability to conduct design reviews with the customer
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
