We are currently seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join our team at our corporate office in Denver, CO. This is a significant role, but you'll be supported by an incredible team of Yugoers, ensuring we consistently provide top-notch service to our students.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the general ledger accounting functions for our operations portfolio.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various teams across our US portfolio
  • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a well-organized approach to tasks with strong attention to detail.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting.
  • 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience, with a preference for real estate and/or public accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in current technologies and intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and independent work skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including local and global teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and an honest approach to tasks.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Openness to taking on new assignments and accepting constructive criticism.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion with confidential matters.
  • Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
