Salary $70K-$85K

Location Denver, Onsite

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5 p.m.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Must have Property Management Accounting Experience

General Accounting Duties

  • Perform full-cycle property accounting for industrial, retail, SFH, and land properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivables, including invoice processing, payment collections, and bank reconciliations.
  • Experienced in  GL, Bank, and CAM reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
  • Record and prepare journal entries, such as revenue and expense accruals, depreciation and amortization entries, mortgage payments, management fees, insurance amortization, and others, as needed to prepare financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with property managers to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct lease administration, including calculating CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges, insurance, and property taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Keen attention to detail.

Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

2-4 years of commercial real estate accounting experience with a third-party management company

Experience with real estate management/accounting software, Rent Manager, Yardi, AppFolio, etc.

Rent Manager experience is strongly preferred
