We are seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our National Healthcare Practice - Medical Malpractice team. This strategic role will play an integral part in assisting Account Managers with larger account service needs/business opportunities, and in supporting day to day client management transactions.
In this role you will:
Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations
Respond to carrier communications and client inquiries/service requests within established timeline
Maintain appropriate files and thorough documentation in agency management systems
Assist Account Management and Business Development team with daily account servicing needs: cancellations, binders, premium finance contracts, claim history requests, certificates, endorsements, client correspondence, retrieving policies, attaching and billing in agency management system
All other duties pertaining to servicing accounts and/or other duties as assigned from time to time
Expertise we desire:
Valid P&C license preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
College degree preferred
Industry specific designations preferred - CISR, ARM or similar
Proficient in insurance agency management systems - AMS360 and WorkSmart preferred
Extensive knowledge of underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
