  • Specializes in analyzing CRE and multifamily loans.
  • Reviews members other real estate related collateral programs for approval
  • Performs detailed front-end and continued analysis of large CRE/MF loans offered as collateral prior to pledge and on a continual basis
  • Research CRE markets and identifies market trends and developments
  • Prepares reports for Collateral Risk management
  • Assists with CRE loan portfolio exposure surveillance and monitoring at Bank level and at the member level
  • Performs related duties to monitor CRE collateral such as reviewing appropriate collateral coverage, assisting to determine collateral liquidation values, and assisting with on-site audits of members CRE loan collateral
  • Prepares detailed analysis of members seeking approval to pledge non-traditional collateral for management review.
  • Develops and maintains spreadsheet processes to assist with loan level data gathering, data analysis and collateral scoring (emphasis on CRE loan collateral), which is used to maintain proper collateral coverage and to discover, monitor and manage member-specific collateral risk
  • Develops and maintains internal procedures for CRE and multifamily loan collateral

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience at a financial institution, with direct experience with commercial underwriting
  • Understanding of commercial loan review, collateral management in the CRE space
  • Credit risk background
