Diabetes & Endocrinology Registered Nurse

Medici Health by Design has an immediate opportunity available for an experienced Diabetes & Endocrinology Registered Nurse. This individual will work between four beautiful state-of-the-art Health and Wellness Centers, caring for retired San Antonio police, fire fighters and other first responders. Must be willing to work between a total of 4 different clinic locations: Westover Hills (Culebra & Rogers Road), Fair Oaks (IH-10 and Ralph Fair Road), Schertz (IH-35 and Schertz Parkway) and Roosevelt (South San Antonio) This individual will support our Diabetes program working closely with the Endocrine Physician Assistant, and also partnering with the Clinical Pharmacist and Care Navigators in a collaborative care model. Responsibilities will consist of assisting with administrative tasks like prior authorizations and education on compliance with diabetic medications. Fulltime position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. No late clinic, no 12-hour shifts and no weekends. Competitive compensation and benefits included. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree preferred but will accept associate degree or Hospital Diploma with equivalent experience.

Minimum of two years nursing experience (direct patient care)

Prior Endocrinology experience highly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Texas Registered Nurse license

BLS
