Labor

Analyst

I

at Power Design works at our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, and

is integral to

our

auditing

forecasting

contract adjustment

process.

The Labor Analyst

assists

with the subcontract labor decision-making process by providing reporting and analytics to department managers and executive management

. This

is not a traditional analyst role

;

it is

perfect for someone who

enjoys building relationships, influencing others, and

identifying

financial and operational

risk

s

in

large-scale construction

subcontract

budgets

. Obtain, analyze, and enter monthly

subcontract variances and/or adjustments

. Oversee and support Operations in the

contract adjustment process

. Lead

various

conversations

regarding

subcontract best practices

. Monitor, track, and report on

subcontract trends

,

adjustments

,

risks

,

and opportunities for efficiencies. Actively

participate

in

subcontract labor buyout decisions

, providing

historical

insight

and risk analysis

to Operations

and buyers

. Familiarize

with

internal/

external contract terms

, company policies,

procedures

/compliance

. Run analytics and

create

ad hoc

reports for projects

and divisions

to understand better

potential risks, concerns

,

and outcomes of decisions

. Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports

,

and making presentations of findings and analyses

. Familiarize with

contract efficiencies

by

understanding

standards

,

eliminating

duplicate efforts

,

and communicating changes effectively

. Close out

subcontract agreements to create

accurate

historical/comparisons for future negotiations

. Supports senior analysts and managers in data analysis and risk reviews
