Business Development Assistant

Job Summary:Johnson Brothers Ford, a leading automotive dealership in Temple, Texas, is seeking a Business Development Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission, catering to individuals looking to jumpstart their career in the auto industry. As an individual contributor, the Business Development Assistant will play a critical role in driving sales and building customer relationships. This position offers vast opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.Compensation & Benefits:The Business Development Assistant will receive a competitive base salary, along with a generous commission structure for meeting and exceeding sales targets. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and employee discounts.Responsibilities:- Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and text messaging to generate leads, schedule appointments, and follow up on inquiries- Conduct a thorough needs analysis and guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to delivery of the vehicle- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and generate repeat business- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a streamlined and efficient sales process- Continuously stay updated on new products, features, and promotions to provide accurate and compelling information to customers- Represent the dealership in a professional and positive manner at all times- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the dealershipRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred- Prior sales experience in the automotive industry is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people- Strong negotiation and closing skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Must pass a background check and drug testEEOC Statement:Johnson Brothers Ford is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
