Palo Alto - Travel across North America

Salary Range: $62,000K - $120,000K (DOE)

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and
  • validation for BLI instrumentation.
  • Maintain annual service contracts: Schedule and perform
  • annual preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain internal instruments for optimal performance
  • (R&D, applications, demo stock).
  • Perform and document system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for
  • repaired and incoming stock.
  • Triage, schedule, and provide customer support via phone,
  • email, or visits.
  • Manage customer relationships and escalations.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with
  • internal and external customers.
  • Report and contribute DFS recommendations for products
  • in development.
  • Document tasks performed at customer sites using SFDC.
  • Log all customer visits and provide feedback to appropriate
  • departments.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, optical engineering, or related field required.

2-3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation service.

Mandarin language skills preferred.

Basic wet lab skills necessary.

Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ is advantageous.

Experience with spectroscopy instrumentation (UV/VIS, Fluorescence, IR, FTIR, Raman) is beneficial.

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized and capable of working independently.

Willingness to travel 50-75%.
