Our manufacturing client in Birminghamhas an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Accounting Manager. This is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to start within 1 week due to the short-term nature of this assignment.

As Accounting Manager, you will serve as a financial expert for ourclient. This involves handling a variety of general to complex accounting functions, providing analytical support, and supervising staff.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with accounting and financial reporting procedures.
  • Investigating significant trends/variances in financial data
  • Providing daily and/or weekly analysis, and reporting on operational performance as it relates to the business activities including variancesand giving feedback.
  • Handling Prepaids, Accruals, Fixed Assets, and Tax
  • Assisting in the formulation of the budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses.
