Job Summary
The Senior Mechanical Engineer-Thermal and Heat Transfer will use heat transfer expertise to help make our product more efficient and sustainable; maintain, create, or repair mechanical systems that involve a heat transfer process into other forms of energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and create design solutions.
- Work in conjunction with other engineers.
- Efficiently lead and manage resources allocated for projects.
- Write and submit design and project status reports.
- Estimate the cost of projects and the time required for completion.
- Develop and test machines for design feasibility and compatibility with established regulations.
- Solid understanding of parametric design methodology.
- Good working knowledge of designing in Inventor and AutoCAD design tools.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer designs and methodologies.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in automation design methodologies.
- Solid understanding of parametric design methodologies.
- Melting furnace design experience preferred.
