Commercial Credit Analyst Full-Time/Part-Time

Full-Time Description

SUMMARY: The Credit Analyst evaluates the financial condition of commercial borrowers. PRIMARY DUTIES: Provides review of new credits, all existing loans and lines, including loan renewals and modifications, as part of an ongoing loan review program; Spreads and analyzes financial statements and tax returns; Produce spread sheets, reports, summaries and opinions for financial institution officers; Responsible for all credit inquiries and the relaying of credit information in accordance with acceptable industry and legal standards in releasing such information; Makes recommendations for appropriate risk ratings; Provides technical advice and assistance to loan officers and other bank personnel as needed; Maintain an up-to-date library of reference materials related to the credit function; Assists in due diligence process as needed to close commercial loans. May also be required to prepare, assemble and/or deliver to closing lender all necessary loan documentation for commercial loans. Reviews loan package to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan packages prior to closing.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: B.A. in Finance or related subject 2-3 years of equivalent work experience in the credit field.
