Position Overview
As a Records Clerk, you will ensure the efficient management, digitization, and organization of our legal records, contributing directly to the success of the firm legal team. You will bring your 2+ years of records experience, within a legal or corporate setting, to help us maintain top-tier client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain legal records and files in a structured and efficient manner.
- Handle data entry, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all records.
- Lead scanning and digitization processes, implementing best practices, and conducting quality control checks.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to retrieve important documents for case preparation.
- Utilize cutting-edge records management software (LegalKEY, FileTrail, iComply) to streamline recordkeeping.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and firm policies.
- Generate and analyze reports, metrics, and KPIs, and handle high-volume records management.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of records management experience, within a law firm or legal environment.
- Strong data entry skills with mindfulness and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with digitization workflows and managing quality control.
- Experience with offsite record storage.
- Proficiency with records management software, including LegalKEY, FileTrail, or iComply.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds as needed.
