SUMMARY

The Tulsa Dream Center YHDP Intake Specialist will manage administrative tasks related to TDC programs and the YHDP programming. This role will offer excellent customer service to community members and patrons seeking services and resources through Tulsa Dream Center programs and the YHDP (Youth Homelessness Development Program) program. This position will coordinate with the Youth Engagement Coordinator and Case Managers within the TDC YHDP program. This role will report directly to the Youth Engagement Coordinator.

This position is grant funded and employment is contingent upon funding availability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support for the Tulsa Dream Center (TDC) and Youth Homelessness Diversion Program (YHDP), ensuring smooth operations and efficient program management.
  • Streamline the intake and documentation process for TDC program members, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Spearhead effective communication strategies, managing external inquiries and cultivating relationships with vendors and potential program participants, channeling them to dedicated TDC Case Managers for personalized assistance.
  • Assist with scheduling activities, organizing client referrals, and creating connections for enhanced program efficacy.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay relevant of the latest developments and best practices within the Tulsa Dream Center programs.
  • All other job duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1 year of relevant or related experience working within an agency or non-profit organization.
  • Familiarity and experience with Housing Related activities (or) Homelessness
  • Good communication, problem solving, and priority setting skills as well as maintaining an overall positive and professional attitude /disposition.
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities.
Physical Requirements

  • Sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, stooping, walking, and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and in case of emergency a 40-pound child;

  • Sighted with peripheral, near, and far vision;
  • Hearing and speaking;
